Torrents of the Spellhoarder Hardcover

It's for higher level players and I'm excited

Already read through this thing cover to cover, and absolutely hype. We're currently running through CotOB, and my party is dedicated to hitting lvl 20. They know CotOB goes till 15, but afaik they arent aware theres a sequel that goes 15+. I'm planning to tell them I got it next session, and given how much they've loved CotOB so far I know they're gonna be thrilled to have something to bridge the gap built by the same team in the same world. Also really looking forward to the Draylstate sandbox that Elderbrain is working on, and am hoping that it comes out before we finish these two so we can do that right after.

If you're on the fence abt these products, don't be. By far the most fantastic and complete 3rd party module I've found to date, and well worth the price for both the physical product quality and the quality of the text imho. ONLY complaint I could possibly give that comes to mind, is I really wish they had more maps in the map pack that are designed to easily plug in random places, cuz in CotOB so far Ive had to go make my own a couple times for various spots.
But thats a petty complaint. All the major important spots you hit if you follow the plot have them, and as far as I can tell looking through Torrents they did the same w this one too!

Thank you Elderbrain for reinvigorating my love of DnD! I had been in a dry spell for a while, but getting a new party together for these has got my gears spinning and the storytelling adrenaline pumping once more!

Great content and graphics can't wait to incorporate into the session

This book is gorgeous! The casewrap hardcover is stunning, the front and end leaves are beautiful. The binding is sewn-in and sturdy, it comes with three, sewn-in, integral ribbon bookmarks of different colors for easily keeping track of important information. The pages themselves are quality, thick paper and the artwork within serves the narrative without taking unnecessary space. This monstrous module is well organized, the maps are laid out well, and the story gives plenty of breathing room for the GM. This is another outstanding product from Elderbrain, I love it!

This book is awesome. Very well writen, new player option are amazing. The artwork is insane. Just get it. Its that simple.

I'm really enjoying the class options

I have gotten both items and both are more then I could have asked for. May feel a bit intimidating with all that is stuffed in. But if your not able to member it all you can have the book to remind your self. OR use as a template and build your own story within the work. All around I think it was a good buy.

I'm a total sucker for seafaring campaigns in 5e. Knowing how difficult it is to run a campaign from lvl 16-20, I was incredibly intrigued to see how these guys handled it. Overall, I was not disappointed. Great, quality product with 1/5 of the book being appendices (PERFECT FOR A DM). My ONLY criticism, and one that did not effect the stars because I did not purchase this book for them, is the subclasses. They were not as robust and interesting as I had hoped they'd be. For example, there is a barbarian subclass that gives lvl 3 and 6 abilities that one could pick up from the Minotaur ancestry (mostly). Then at lvl 10, your attacks are made magical. That's it. At lvl 10, you must use a rage to stun an enemy. It's a tough sell all the way down the line. I'd have loved more creative, insightful subclasses. Otherwise, excellent and valuable book.

I've never been good at writing long reviews, so I'll keep it simple: it was worth every penny and an amazing experience.
