What begins as the disappearance of a reclusive painter leads to a nightmare hidden beneath a country inn — a dungeon that exists only because someone painted it into reality.

The Copper Kettle Inn has its share of local rumors, but none are as disturbing as those surrounding Maervik Gharome. The artist vanished without explanation, leaving behind a self-portrait whose gaze seems to follow anyone who looks upon it. Whispers of missing models and a room that swallowed one of the inn's guests hint at something far stranger than a simple disappearance.

Maervik's secret lies underground. Desperate to escape the consequences of his bargain with Moal'dax, an archdevil who granted him extraordinary artistic skill, he created a hidden realm with his final brushstrokes. The characters must brave its shifting architecture, treacherous illusions, and walls that ooze unnatural pigment. This is no ordinary dungeon but a work of art turned against its creator's visitors. At its center waits the Brush of Moal'dax, an infernal tool whose next wielder may discover that some masterpieces demand more than blood, sweat, and inspiration.
