Still It Rises Roll20 Module with PDF (Level 1-4)

A one-shot of frozen nights, an undying arcanist, and the horrors of forbidden magic

A winter celebration becomes a deadly hunt when a regenerating undead creature descends upon a remote lakeside retreat. Trapped by a raging blizzard, the characters must follow the trail into an ancient necromantic vault and uncover the truth behind a soul that refuses to die.

Lord Finio Drayl has gathered guests for a festive winter revel, hoping for a memorable night away from the bustle of the city. Instead, his invitation draws the attention of a terrifying creature connected to the Twilight Wars. Spellcasters are its preferred prey, and ordinary weapons may not be enough to keep it down.

The investigation leads beneath the snow to a sealed Necrovault, once used by the royal court of King Kalaman the First for dangerous magical research. The facility is now a maze of broken wards and toxic fumes, holding the remnants of Solado Trolius’s work. Once an apprentice, Solado pursued immortality at any cost, leaving behind a nightmare that continues to rise after every defeat.

As the storm rages above, the characters must search the vault for the source of the creature’s power. The gathering’s lively guests offer moments of levity amid the growing horror, but the danger never stays far away. To survive, the party must unravel the necromancer’s legacy and find a way to end a threat that cannot be defeated through mundane combat alone.
