What begins as an elegant winter gathering soon turns into a fight against an enemy that refuses to stay dead. With a snowstorm cutting off escape, the characters must uncover the secrets of an ancient necromantic experiment before an undying hunter claims them all.

Lord Finio Drayl’s winter celebration promises fine company and a welcome retreat at a remote lakeside cabin. But when a terrifying undead creature arrives, the festivities become a desperate struggle to protect the guests. Its hatred of spellcasters and its ability to return after defeat reveal a connection to the forbidden black magic of the Twilight Wars.

The characters’ search takes them to a sealed Necrovault, a royal research complex established under King Kalaman the First. Its ruined chambers are filled with dangerous alchemical residue and the remains of powerful magical safeguards. At the heart of the mystery lies Solado Trolius, an apprentice whose determination to escape mortality transformed his research into an ever-lasting horror.

Survival demands more than defeating the creature again and again. The party must investigate the Necrovault, overcome its environmental hazards, and discover what sustains the undead’s unnatural regeneration. As the night grows colder and trust among the guests begins to falter, the characters face a grim choice: destroy the source of the dark magic or remain trapped in an endless struggle against death itself.
