A one-shot of a haunted winter revel, immortal enemies, and a buried royal secret

Snow blankets a noble winter retreat as a celebration descends into terror. An undead arcanist stalks the guests, and the only way to stop its relentless pursuit lies within a forgotten vault where the secrets of forbidden magic remain alive.

The characters arrive at a secluded lakeside cabin at the invitation of Lord Finio Drayl, but some of the other guests have drawn the attention an unwelcome being. A creature born from the dark aftermath of the Twilight Wars begins targeting spellcasters, returning from each defeat with a restored body. With a blizzard raging outside, the guests have nowhere safe to hide so they must dwelve deeper into the underground complex below the cabin. The trail leads to a Necrovault, an abandoned royal research facility once overseen by a feared necromancer during the reign of King Kalaman the First. Beyond its sealed doors, unstable wards and poisonous alchemical fumes guard the remnants of an experiment tied to Solado Trolius. His desperate attempt to conquer death left behind a legacy that refuses to remain buried.

The characters must navigate the vault’s dangers while searching for a way to end the creature’s constant regeneration. The deeper the investigation goes, the clearer it becomes that survival depends on understanding the magic sustaining their relentless pursuer.
