A merchant flagship vanishes near a haunted isle, and whispers of dragons rise with the tide. What begins as a rescue mission soon unravels into a web of broken oaths, sea-salted lies, and a power struggle that could set the coast ablaze.

Lord Captain Samiel Drayl ensured that the Brinecoast’s ships sailed under steady protection by making a pact with the young brine dragon, Iskavira. But when the ruthless Vhalzarkon, Iskavira’s former mate, emerges from the depths, the fragile balance collapses. The merchant vessel Wavebourne Grace is found shattered upon the reefs of the Isle of Kessar, its crew missing and its fate soaked in blood and sand.

Hired by the famed silk baroness Ceres Drenna, the seasoned characters sail aboard the Widow’s Glory toward the island’s jagged cliffs. They have to explore the wreck-strewn shores, confront the fanatical shaman Skalrix the Salt-Tongue and his kobold tribe devoted to draconic divinity, and survive treacherous locations like the Wasp-Cleft Cave and the Brinefang Totem Grounds. Beneath the island lies the flooded and ominous Brine Lair — a tidal cavern where captives hang in chains and a dragon’s egg waits in silence.

Alliances shift like currents. Changing winds may bring treachery. And the two brine dragons — one young and calculating, the other ancient and merciless — dominate the seas with crystalline fury and suffocating salt storms. Will the heroes break the cycle of blood and treachery, forge a new pact, or let the waves swallow the truth forever?
