Salt in the Wound FoundryVTT Module with PDF (Level 9-12)

A one-shot of maritime adventure with dragons and treachery on a haunted isle

The wreck of a merchant flagship on a remote island where deadly secrets lie beneath the salt-crusted shores. As rumors of dragons spread along the coast, the heroes must uncover the truth behind the disaster before a bitter rivalry turns the surrounding seas into an active battlefield.

The Brinecoast has enjoyed relative security thanks to Lord Captain Samiel Drayl’s pact with Iskavira, a young brine dragon who helps protect its merchant vessels. But when Vhalzarkon, Iskavira’s former mate, resurfaces from the depths, the agreement faces its greatest test. The Wavebourne Grace has been shattered against the reefs of the Isle of Kessar, leaving no clear account of what happened to its crew.

The silk baroness Ceres Drenna hires the characters to investigate, sending them to the island’s forbidding cliffs. Their search brings them into conflict with Skalrix the Salt-Tongue, a fanatical shaman whose kobold followers revere draconic power. From the dangerous passages of Wasp-Cleft Cave to the Brinefang Totem Grounds, the expedition uncovers evidence of a deeper conspiracy within the flooded Brine Lair, where captives are kept in chains and a dragon’s egg remains concealed.

The investigation soon becomes a struggle to navigate the competing ambitions of two formidable brine dragons. With alliances shifting and salt storms threatening the coastline, the heroes must decide how to confront the growing crisis. This nautical fantasy adventure blends island exploration, dragon encounters, and moral choices in a conflict where the wrong decision could leave Brinecoast at the mercy of the sea.
